Content Owner Submission Agreement

v1.4

Submitting content to HeyRuby.tv is governed by the HeyRuby.tv Creator Agreement v1.4. Read the full agreement below, then confirm the declarations. This is the same binding agreement your account signs.

HeyRuby.tv Creator Agreement

Version 1.4 · Rate Card v1 (Founding) · Effective 2026-08-31

Welcome to HeyRuby.tv. This agreement is between Real Games, Inc., doing business as HeyRuby.tv ("HeyRuby," "we," "us," or "our") and you, the person or company uploading content to HeyRuby.tv ("Creator," "you," or "your").

We wrote this agreement to be read, not just signed. It is the real, binding contract, and it is also written in plain language on purpose, because we think you should be able to understand every promise we make to each other. By clicking "I Agree," digitally signing, or uploading content to HeyRuby.tv, you accept this agreement.

1. Content Covered by This Agreement

This agreement applies to everything you upload, submit, or deliver to HeyRuby.tv, including microdrama series, episodes, trailers, clips, thumbnails, posters, titles, descriptions, scripts, captions, subtitles, dubs, artwork, metadata, audio, music, promotional materials, and any related files. Together, we call all of this the "Content."

2. You Keep Ownership

You keep full ownership of your Content. Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership to HeyRuby. This never changes, no matter what.

3. The License You Give Us

So that we can actually run the service, you grant HeyRuby a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the Content on and in connection with HeyRuby.tv, our mobile apps, our social channels, and our marketing. This license lets us:

  • Host, store, encode, stream, display, distribute, and make the Content available to viewers.
  • Publish and distribute selected full episodes, trailers, clips, excerpts, still images, thumbnails, artwork, titles, descriptions, and other promotional materials through third-party websites, applications, social media, video-sharing, streaming, app-store, search, and other distribution platforms, to promote your Content and help viewers discover it.
  • Create thumbnails, previews, trailers, clips, excerpts, captions, subtitles, dubs, translations, localized versions, metadata, and promotional materials from the Content.
  • Crop, resize, reformat, excerpt, caption, subtitle, dub, localize, and otherwise make reasonable technical or promotional modifications to the Content for technical, formatting, localization, moderation, accessibility, or promotional purposes, without materially changing its underlying meaning or character.
  • Advertise and promote the Content and the HeyRuby service through paid or unpaid marketing, including sponsored advertising, boosted posts, promotional placements, trailers, previews, and other advertising campaigns, on websites, apps, app stores, social platforms, emails, and press materials.
  • Work through the vendors and partners we need to operate and promote, such as hosting providers, content delivery networks, payment providers, app stores, analytics providers, and advertising platforms, agencies, distributors, and other service providers acting on HeyRuby's behalf.
  • Use the title of your Content, your series name, your Creator or studio name, approved logos, artwork, and other materials you provide, alongside and in connection with the distribution and promotion of the Content.

This license is sublicensable only as needed for HeyRuby to operate, distribute, promote, and improve the service. "Non-exclusive" means you are free to publish your Content anywhere else too, unless you and HeyRuby sign a separate exclusivity deal.

Advertising is our cost, not yours. Unless you and HeyRuby agree otherwise in a separate signed content deal (such as a Content Deal Summary), any advertising or promotional spending we undertake is at HeyRuby's discretion and expense, and it does not create any payment obligation for you.

These promotional rights exist solely to distribute, market, and promote your Content and the HeyRuby services through which it is offered. We will not use your Content, name, or likeness to suggest that you personally endorse an unrelated third-party product or service without your permission.

If your Content is removed from active distribution, we will stop initiating new promotional uses of it within a commercially reasonable period, but we are not required to recall or remove advertising, social posts, press materials, or other promotional materials that were already distributed.

4. Tickets, Your Rate Card, and How You Earn

Viewers on HeyRuby spend Tickets to unlock episodes. Your earnings are based on one simple rule:

You earn a fixed royalty for every Paid Ticket a viewer spends on your Content, at the rate shown on the Rate Card attached to your account.

A "Paid Ticket" is a Ticket a viewer acquired by paying us, whether through a ticket pack or a subscription. Promotional, bonus, gift, or reward Tickets that we give viewers for free are not Paid Tickets and do not earn royalties. We give those away to bring new viewers to your Content, and viewer accounts always spend free Tickets first, so free promotions never displace your paid earnings unfairly.

Rate Card v1 (Founding):

  • Standard content: $0.007 (0.7 cents) per Paid Ticket.
  • Exclusive content (under a signed exclusivity deal): $0.008 (0.8 cents) per Paid Ticket.
  • Tips: $0.010 (1 cent) per Paid Ticket tipped. Tips are 100% yours; we take no percentage.

Example: a standard episode costs viewers 15 Tickets to unlock. If all 15 are Paid Tickets, you earn $0.105 for that unlock. 10,000 paid unlocks of that episode would earn you $1,050.

Tips. Viewers can tip your Content directly. Tips made with Paid Tickets pay you the full face value of $0.010 per Ticket, outside your content royalty rate, with no percentage taken. Tips made with free promotional Tickets appear on your statement for transparency but pay $0.00, because royalties are only paid on Tickets that viewers actually paid for.

Discounts and bundles. If we offer viewers a discount (for example, a discounted bundle to unlock all remaining episodes of a series), the discount reduces the number of Tickets the viewer spends, and your royalty follows the Tickets actually spent. Your rate per Paid Ticket never changes, and we never deduct our own fees or costs from your royalty.

Rounding. If a discount produces a fractional Ticket amount, we round the Tickets charged down in the viewer's favor. Dollar amounts on statements are rounded to the cent.

Free Tickets you receive. When viewers spend free promotional Tickets on your Content or tip you with them, those Tickets do not pay cash royalties, but they are not wasted either: we credit the same number of free Tickets to the free-Ticket balance of your own HeyRuby account, and you can spend them on HeyRuby content just like any viewer. Your free-Ticket balance holds a maximum of 5,000 Tickets; while it is full, additional free Tickets do not accrue until you spend some. Free Tickets are promotional only: they have no cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or converted into royalties or payouts. Free Tickets lapse only if your account is entirely inactive for 12 months or more.

Your rate never depends on what the viewer paid for their Tickets. Whether a viewer bought Tickets in a pack, through a subscription, on a promotion, or in another currency, your royalty per Paid Ticket is exactly the number on your Rate Card. This is deliberate: it keeps your math simple, it keeps your earnings verifiable from your own dashboard, and it means neither of us ever needs to argue about company-wide sales figures.

Rate Cards are versioned documents. Your agreement is pinned to the Rate Card named above. We may publish different Rate Cards for creators who join later, but your Rate Card does not change unless you expressly accept a new one in writing.

5. Founding Creators

The first 100 approved creator accounts on HeyRuby.tv are "Founding Creators." If you are one of them, your account will say so, and these terms apply to you:

  • Rate Card v1 is locked in for the life of your account. Later Rate Cards for new creators may be lower; yours will not go down.
  • The lock stays in effect as long as your account remains in good standing under this agreement and you keep at least one series available on HeyRuby.
  • Founding status is attached to you, not to a specific series. New series you add later also earn at your locked rate.

To be clear about one thing, because we want to be fair in both directions: we promise your rate will never be lowered, but we do not promise it will always be the highest rate on the platform. If we ever raise rates in the future, we may invite you to move to the newer Rate Card.

6. Statements, Payments, and Verification

Monthly statement. Each month you get a statement in your creator dashboard showing, for each of your series and episodes: the number of Paid Tickets spent, your Rate Card rate, tips received, free Tickets credited to you, and your total earnings. Your dashboard also includes a running transaction ledger and downloadable statements you can hand straight to your accountant.

Payment. We pay royalties monthly through Stripe, within 30 days after the end of each calendar month, once your balance reaches the minimum payout amount of $25. Balances below the minimum roll forward and are never forfeited while your account is open. All royalties are calculated and paid in US dollars.

Adjustments. If Tickets spent on your Content are later refunded, reversed, charged back, or found to be fraudulent or artificially generated (for example, bot traffic, self-dealing, or engagement manipulation), we may deduct the corresponding royalties from your current or future balance. We will show any adjustment on your statement.

Claimed or disputed Content. If Content becomes the subject of a rights claim, legal demand, or investigation, we may hold royalties attributable to that Content until the matter is resolved. If the claim turns out to be valid, we may redirect those held royalties to the rightful owner or apply them against the costs the claim caused, and we may recover from you any amounts we refund to viewers because of it. If the claim fails, the held royalties are released to you on the next payment cycle.

Verification. We keep accurate records of Paid Tickets spent on your Content. Once in any 12-month period, you (or an accountant you appoint, under confidentiality) may ask us to verify your statements. Verification covers exactly two things: the count of Paid Tickets spent on your Content, and the rate on your Rate Card. It does not extend to HeyRuby's overall sales, pricing, subscriber counts, other creators' data, or any other company records, because your earnings do not depend on any of those things.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for your own taxes on royalty payments. Where required, we (or Stripe, our payment processor) will collect tax forms from you, such as a W-9 or W-8, and issue tax documents such as a 1099. We may withhold amounts where the law requires it.

8. Term, Minimum Availability, and Removing Your Content

This agreement starts when you accept it or upload Content, and continues while your Content is available on HeyRuby.

Minimum Availability Term. Viewers spend real money to unlock your episodes, and they deserve to trust that a series they start will not vanish. So each series you publish must remain available on HeyRuby for at least 48 months from the date it is first published (the "Minimum Availability Term"). If you need a series removed earlier, talk to us; we can agree to an early removal in writing, and we will be reasonable, but early removal is our decision to make, not a right you can exercise unilaterally.

Removal after the Minimum Availability Term. Once a series has completed its Minimum Availability Term, you may request its removal at any time by emailing contact@realgames.ai, and we will withdraw it from new viewers within 30 days, subject to the "Keeping Viewers Whole" section below.

The Minimum Availability Term does not restrict HeyRuby's own moderation and review rights, and it does not apply where the Content must come down for legal, safety, or rights reasons.

After removal, we may keep copies for a reasonable period for backups, legal compliance, accounting, anti-fraud, and customer support, and previously distributed promotional materials may continue to exist where we cannot practically recall them. Royalties earned before removal are still paid to you.

9. Keeping Viewers Whole

This section is one of the most important promises on the platform, and it protects your audience.

When your Content is removed at your request (after the Minimum Availability Term, or earlier by written agreement), we will stop offering it to new viewers: it comes out of browse, search, recommendations, and new unlocks. But viewers who already spent Tickets to unlock your episodes keep access to those episodes. The license you grant us in this agreement continues for that limited purpose, for those viewers only, for as long as HeyRuby operates. Since those viewers already paid and unlocking is a one-time event, no new Paid Tickets are spent during this continuity period and no new royalties accrue from it.

The only exception: if Content must be removed because it is illegal, infringes someone's rights, is the subject of a court order or valid takedown, or creates a genuine safety risk, we will remove it for everyone, including viewers who paid. If we choose to compensate affected viewers in that situation and the removal was caused by your breach of this agreement, we may recover those amounts from you.

10. Your Promises to Us

You represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and have full legal authority to enter into this agreement.
  • All account and identity information you give us is accurate, you are who you say you are, and any payout account belongs to you.
  • You own or control all rights needed to upload, license, distribute, promote, and monetize the Content through HeyRuby, worldwide, for the full period the Content is on HeyRuby, including the viewer continuity period described in "Keeping Viewers Whole."
  • The Content does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, music, moral, guild, union, contract, or other rights.
  • You have obtained, and can produce on request, all necessary licenses, releases, and permissions, including for actors, writers, directors, crew, music compositions and sound recordings, locations, brands, artwork, stock footage, AI-generated elements, and voice, likeness, and performance rights. Music licenses in particular must cover the full period the Content is available on HeyRuby.
  • Every performer appearing in the Content was of legal working age with all legally required consents and permits at the time of production, and you keep documentation of performer ages and consents.
  • No other agreement prevents HeyRuby from using the Content as described here.
  • There are no undisclosed claims, disputes, takedown demands, or lawsuits involving the Content.
  • The Content contains nothing illegal, including child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate material, or unlawful threats, and does not promote terrorism, human trafficking, or other criminal activity.
  • The Content and its files contain no malware, tracking code, or hidden functionality, and you will not manipulate titles, descriptions, tags, or other metadata to mislead viewers or the platform.
  • You will not generate, buy, or encourage artificial views, unlocks, or engagement on your Content.
  • You are not subject to sanctions that would prohibit us from doing business with you, and you will comply with applicable export control and anti-corruption laws.
  • You have accurately disclosed any mature themes, violence, sexual content, drug use, self-harm, profanity, or other age-sensitive material.

These promises are continuing. You make them again every time you upload new Content, and they must stay true the entire time your Content is on HeyRuby. If anything changes (for example, a music license expires, a release is revoked, or a dispute arises), you must tell us promptly at contact@realgames.ai. Telling us early is always treated more favorably than us finding out later.

11. Ratings, Moderation, and Our Review Rights

You must provide accurate content rating information when we ask. We may classify, label, age-gate, restrict, edit, reject, demonetize, or remove Content that we believe is unsuitable for certain viewers, advertisers, app stores, payment providers, or distribution partners.

HeyRuby is not required to publish, promote, monetize, or continue hosting any particular Content. We may reject, remove, suspend, restrict, or disable access to Content at any time if we believe it violates this agreement, our policies, or the law, creates legal or platform risk, receives a rights claim or dispute, or is not suitable for HeyRuby's audience or brand. If we remove Content for reasons unrelated to a breach by you, royalties already earned are unaffected.

12. Copyright Claims, Takedowns, and Repeat Infringers

We take rights seriously, in both directions: we act on valid complaints about your Content, and we act on valid complaints you make about others.

Takedowns. If we receive a rights claim, takedown notice (including under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act), legal demand, or credible dispute involving your Content, we may remove or restrict the Content immediately while we review, and we may hold related royalties as described in Section 6. You agree to cooperate and provide proof of rights, licenses, and permissions when we ask. Where the law provides a counter-notice process, you may use it, and we will handle it as the law requires.

Illegal content. Content that we determine is illegal is removed immediately and completely, for all viewers, without notice, and may be reported to law enforcement where required or appropriate. Royalties attributable to illegal content are forfeited.

Repeat infringers. We maintain and enforce a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of creators who repeatedly infringe the rights of others. Repeated valid claims against your Content, or a single egregious violation, can end this agreement, your Founding Creator status, and your account. Removal caused by your infringement or breach is not a violation of the Minimum Availability Term by us and does not trigger any obligation to you.

Your duty to notify. If you receive any claim or legal notice involving the Content, you must promptly notify us at contact@realgames.ai.

13. AI, Metadata, and Platform Features

We may analyze Content to operate and improve the platform, including for safety, moderation, recommendations, search, tagging, captions, subtitles, translations, summaries, quality control, analytics, and fraud prevention.

Unless you separately agree in writing, HeyRuby will not intentionally use your full episodes to train third-party generative AI foundation models.

14. No Guaranteed Results

We work hard to help great content find its audience, but we cannot promise outcomes. HeyRuby does not guarantee publication, promotion, views, followers, revenue, paid unlocks, app store approval, continued hosting, search ranking, or recommendation placement.

15. Responsibility and Indemnity

You are responsible for your Content and for any breach of this agreement. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Real Games, Inc., HeyRuby.tv, and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, investors, agents, service providers, and partners from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from the Content, your upload of it, your breach of this agreement, your violation of law, infringement of third-party rights, viewer refunds caused by your breach, or any unpaid royalties, residuals, guild, union, music, or talent payments related to the Content. We may offset amounts you owe under this section against royalties we owe you.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeyRuby will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from this agreement or the Content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeyRuby's total liability under this agreement will not exceed the greater of: (a) the royalties HeyRuby paid you for the applicable Content during the six months before the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars.

17. Confidentiality

If we share non-public business, technical, product, financial, platform, or deal information with you, you agree to keep it confidential and use it only for purposes related to HeyRuby. Your own statements and earnings are yours; you are free to share them.

18. Assignment, Successors, and Change of Control

You may not assign this agreement without our prior written consent.

HeyRuby may, without your further consent or approval, assign or transfer this agreement and any rights, licenses, and obligations under it:

  • To an affiliate or subsidiary of Real Games, Inc.
  • In connection with a merger, consolidation, corporate reorganization, or similar transaction.
  • In connection with a change in the ownership or control of Real Games, Inc. or HeyRuby.
  • In connection with the sale or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets, equity, business, or operations associated with HeyRuby.
  • To a successor or acquirer of Real Games, Inc. or the HeyRuby business.

Any permitted successor or assignee may exercise the rights and licenses you grant to HeyRuby in this agreement, will assume HeyRuby's obligations under it, and must honor your Rate Card and Founding Creator status.

A merger, acquisition, reorganization, change of control, or permitted assignment does not terminate or revoke the license you grant in this agreement and does not require additional approval from you.

This agreement binds and benefits both of us and our respective permitted successors and assigns.

19. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from this agreement will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, unless we both agree in writing to another dispute resolution process.

20. Language and Translations

This agreement is written and executed in English, and the English version is the only binding version. We may provide courtesy translations to make it easier to read, but if a translation ever conflicts with the English text, the English text controls.

21. Notices

Notices to HeyRuby must be sent by email to contact@realgames.ai. We may send notices to you using the email address, account messaging, or contact information associated with your HeyRuby account.

22. Entire Agreement, Changes, and Survival

This agreement, your pinned Rate Card, and any separate signed content deal between you and HeyRuby make up the entire agreement about the Content. If a separate signed content deal conflicts with this agreement, the separate deal controls for that specific Content. Changes to this agreement or your Rate Card require your electronic acceptance or a document signed by both parties; we cannot change your rate by simply updating a webpage.

Survival. The parts of this agreement that by their nature should outlive it do: your promises in Section 10, the viewer continuity license in Section 9, indemnity, limitation of liability, confidentiality, governing law, and our right to retain records, all survive termination of this agreement.

23. Electronic Signature and Acceptance

You agree that this agreement may be accepted and signed electronically. Clicking "I Agree," digitally signing, or uploading Content to HeyRuby.tv is your electronic signature and has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. You agree that HeyRuby may keep an electronic record of your acceptance, including your name, company name, email address, IP address, timestamp, user ID, agreement version, Rate Card version, and signature record.

This English-language agreement is the only binding version. Any translation provided elsewhere on HeyRuby is a courtesy to help you read it; if a translation ever conflicts with this English text, the English text controls.

Creator FAQ

Answers to the questions creators and rights holders ask us most. We add to this list as new questions come in.

Can I start by submitting an existing series or a few selected episodes for private review? How many episodes do you need for the initial evaluation?

Yes. Most creators begin by sending us private links to 3 episodes so we can evaluate the quality, format, and fit of the show. Unlisted or password-protected links are fine, and nothing is published during review. Use the intake form on this page, or email contact@realgames.ai with the links and a short description. Once a show is approved, it needs at least 6 finished episodes before it can be published (see Submission Requirements above).

Does a series need 10 or more completed episodes before publication, or can I release episodes gradually?

There is no 10-episode rule. A series can be published once it has at least 6 finished episodes, and you can keep adding episodes while the show is still in production. When a series is released before it is complete, the current final episode ends with a "Check back soon for the next episode" card, and viewers who have started the show see new episodes as soon as they are added. We are also adding a Notify Me option so those viewers can be alerted when new episodes drop. Releasing gradually is a good way to build an audience while you finish production.

Do creators keep full ownership of their series? Is the agreement non-exclusive, and can the same content stay on Instagram or be published and licensed on other platforms?

You keep all rights to your content. HeyRuby receives a license to host, stream, subtitle, translate, and promote it; we never take ownership.

You choose the license type when you submit:

  • Non-exclusive: 70% royalty rate ($0.007 per Paid Ticket). You are free to keep the same content on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or any other platform, and to license it elsewhere.
  • Exclusive: 80% royalty rate ($0.008 per Paid Ticket), under a separate signed exclusivity deal, for creators who want HeyRuby to be the only place to watch the show.

Please note that we invest in marketing, so we post episodes and clips from your show on our social channels and in paid ads to find viewers who will love it. You are welcome to do the same.

What license does HeyRuby receive, how long does it last, and can I remove a series from the platform?

HeyRuby receives a worldwide license (non-exclusive unless you sign an exclusivity deal) to host, stream, subtitle, translate, and promote your content on HeyRuby.tv, our apps, our social channels, and our marketing.

Because viewers spend real money to unlock episodes, each series stays available on HeyRuby for a Minimum Availability Term of 48 months from the date it is first published. After that, you can request removal at any time by emailing contact@realgames.ai, and we withdraw the series from new viewers within 30 days. Viewers who already spent Tickets to unlock episodes keep access to those episodes, but no new royalties accrue from them. Earlier removal is possible by written agreement; talk to us and we will be reasonable. Royalties earned before removal are always paid.

How is the creator's 70% revenue calculated? Are payment processing fees or other deductions taken before the revenue split?

Your royalty is a fixed amount per Paid Ticket, not a percentage of our sales. Every Ticket has a face value of $0.01, and you earn:

  • Standard (non-exclusive) content: $0.007 per Paid Ticket, which is 70% of face value.
  • Exclusive content: $0.008 per Paid Ticket, which is 80% of face value.
  • Tips: $0.010 per Paid Ticket, which is 100%. We take nothing from tips.

Example: an episode costs 15 Tickets to unlock. If a viewer unlocks it with 15 Paid Tickets, you earn 15 x $0.007 = $0.105. Ten thousand paid unlocks of that episode earn $1,050.

No fees are deducted before your royalty is calculated. Card and payment processing fees, app store fees, hosting, taxes we collect, and our own costs are never taken out of your rate. It also does not matter what the viewer paid for their Tickets (a ticket pack, a subscription, a promotion, or another currency): a Paid Ticket spent on your content is always worth exactly your Rate Card rate to you. That is deliberate: your earnings are Tickets x rate, verifiable from your own dashboard, with no dependence on our company sales figures.

Things that do affect the number:

  • Only Paid Tickets earn cash. Free promotional Tickets we give viewers pay $0.00, but the same number of free Tickets is credited to your own HeyRuby account to spend on content (up to a 5,000 Ticket stash).
  • Discounts, such as a bundle to unlock the rest of a series, reduce the Tickets the viewer spends, so your royalty follows the Tickets actually spent. Your per-Ticket rate never changes.
  • Refunds, chargebacks, and fraudulent or bot traffic can be reversed, and any adjustment is shown on your statement.
  • The only fee you will ever see is the payout processor's transfer fee when you withdraw, shown before you confirm. It is a payout fee, not a deduction from your royalty.
Is there a creator dashboard where I can see views, Ticket spending, tips, and earnings?

Yes. Every approved creator gets a private Creator Dashboard showing, per series and per episode: episode starts and completions, Paid Tickets spent, tips received, free Tickets credited to you, royalties earned, and viewer geography. You also get a monthly statement, a running transaction ledger, and downloadable statements you can hand straight to your accountant. If there is information you would like added, tell us and we will pass it to our design team.

What are the minimum payout threshold, payout schedule, currency, and available payment methods? Can creators outside the US be paid?
  • Minimum payout: $25. Balances below the minimum roll forward and are never forfeited while your account is open.
  • Schedule: royalties are calculated monthly and paid within 30 days after the end of each calendar month.
  • Currency: all royalties are calculated in US dollars. Stripe deposits to your bank in your local currency where supported.
  • Method: payouts are made through Stripe. From your Creator Dashboard you complete a short Stripe onboarding (identity and bank details), and Stripe pays your bank directly. Stripe's transfer fee is shown before you confirm each withdrawal. Stripe also collects any required tax forms (W-9 or W-8) and issues tax documents where applicable.
  • Countries: Stripe payouts are available to creators in the United States, United Kingdom, European Economic Area, Canada, Switzerland, and the other countries Stripe supports. If Stripe does not support your country (for example, Montenegro or Mainland China), we pay by international wire transfer from Real Games in the United States or Europe, or through Wise.com, to your personal or company bank account. Tell us your country during intake and we will confirm the payment path before you upload.
Does HeyRuby promote submitted series and help creators find an audience, or are creators expected to bring their own viewers?

Both, and the combination works best. We invest our own money in marketing: paid social ads, posting episodes and clips on our social channels, placement on the HeyRuby homepage and Discover pages, and viewer emails. Shows that perform well with viewers get more of that promotion. Creators who also share their series link with an existing audience earn faster, because every Paid Ticket those viewers spend is yours at your Rate Card rate. We work hard to help great content find its audience, but we cannot guarantee views, promotion placement, or revenue for any particular series.

Are there any fees or other costs that creators must pay to participate?

No. There are no submission, listing, hosting, streaming, subtitling, or translation fees, and no charge for the Creator Dashboard or statements. HeyRuby earns only from the portion of Ticket sales that is not paid to creators. The only cost you will ever see is the payout processor's transfer fee when you withdraw your earnings, which is displayed before you confirm.

In addition to revenue sharing, does HeyRuby offer commissioned productions, production funding, advances, or minimum guarantees for new original series?

Our standard model is revenue sharing with no advances or minimum guarantees, which is what lets us pay creators the highest fixed royalty rate in the industry. The first 100 approved creators are Founding Creators and lock in Rate Card v1 for the life of their account, including any new series they add later. For exceptional series we are open to discussing an exclusivity deal (80% rate) and dedicated marketing support. If you have a specific project in mind, tell us about it through the intake form or at contact@realgames.ai.

Can I read the complete creator agreement and monetization terms before uploading a full series?

Yes. The full HeyRuby.tv Creator Agreement, including the Rate Card and payment terms, is shown in its entirety inside the intake form on this page, before you are asked to sign anything. You can read it in full without submitting, and you can request a PDF copy by emailing contact@realgames.ai. Nothing is published until your show has been reviewed and approved.

Can a company, for example a production company registered in Mainland China, receive royalties to its company bank account? Can we work on a business-to-business basis?

Yes. Royalties can be paid to a company rather than an individual, and a direct business-to-business relationship is workable.

  • Where Stripe supports your country, your company completes Stripe's business verification and is paid to its company bank account.
  • Where Stripe does not (Mainland China, for example), we pay by international wire transfer in USD from Real Games in the United States or Europe, or through Wise.com where available, to your company bank account.
  • We accept a corporate invoice for each payment, together with the tax documentation appropriate for a foreign company (typically IRS Form W-8BEN-E).

The same Rate Card, monthly statement, payment schedule, and $25 minimum apply. Tell us the company details during intake so we can confirm the payment path before your show is published.

Can the 48-month Minimum Availability Term be adjusted in a separate agreement for a non-exclusive license?

The 48-month term exists to protect viewers who spend real money to unlock a series, so it is our standard for every show, exclusive or not. It is not inflexible: the Creator Agreement already allows early removal by written agreement, and for established rights holders we can discuss a different minimum term for specific series in a separate content agreement. The one condition that never changes is that viewers who already unlocked episodes keep access to them. Raise it during intake and we will settle the terms in writing before your show is published.
