Advice to creators
I would tell aspiring creators that they do not need a big budget or professional equipment to begin. A great story can start with a simple idea, a few characters, and the willingness to learn. AI tools can help bring creative visions to life, even though the video production process can take time and practice.
What would you say to people who have great story ideas but feel unable to produce them because they lack budget, equipment, connections, or experience? What advice would you give them to help take the first step?

Please briefly introduce yourself and your creative team. Who are you, where are you based, and how did you begin your journey into filmmaking and storytelling?
My name is Juju Scotella, and I am an independent storyteller from Argentina. I love creating imaginative stories with unique characters, emotional conflicts, fantasy, and romance. I am developing my own creative universe using AI tools to bring my ideas and characters to life. My goal is to share original stories with audiences around the world.

What inspired you to create micro-dramas? Was there a particular moment, story, platform, or opportunity that made you think, "I want to do this"?
I was inspired to create micro-dramas because I love stories that make people feel strong emotions and want to discover what happens next. I enjoy combining romance, fantasy, mystery, and unexpected twists in short episodes. Micro-dramas allow me to tell engaging stories in a visual format and share my imagination with a wider audience.
- 03
Please introduce the series you created. What is the story about? What makes it special to you, and how do you hope audiences will feel while watching it?
My series is a fantasy romance about destiny, secrets, and unexpected connections between characters from different worlds. The story explores emotional struggles, complicated relationships, and the choices that can change a person's life. I want viewers to feel curious, moved, and excited to discover each new episode. What makes this project special to me is the opportunity to build an original world and bring its characters to life through AI-assisted visual storytelling.

What does your production process look like? Could you take us behind the scenes, from the initial concept to the finished production, and explain how you complete each step?
My creative process begins with an original idea, which I develop into a story with characters, dialogue, and episode outlines. I then use AI tools to help create character visuals, scenes, and video sequences. I work on assembling the scenes, refining the storytelling, and organizing the episodes into a coherent series. As an independent creator, I manage the creative direction of my projects and continue learning new ways to improve the final result.
- 05
As independent creators, what has been the most difficult part? What have you learned that could help others avoid similar challenges?
For me, the hardest part is not imagining or creating the story, but turning it into actual videos. AI tools can make the production process challenging, especially when trying to create natural movements, consistent characters, and scenes that match the original vision. I have learned that patience, creativity, and persistence are essential. My advice to other creators is to take things one step at a time and not give up just because bringing an idea to life is harder than expected.

What makes a micro-drama successful in your view? When each episode is so short, what keeps audiences watching and makes them eager to see the next episode?
I believe a successful micro-drama needs an engaging story, memorable characters, and strong emotions. Even in short episodes, viewers should feel connected to the characters and curious about what will happen next. Unexpected twists, meaningful dialogue, and suspenseful endings can encourage people to keep watching. For me, the story always comes first, because the visuals are there to bring its emotions and ideas to life.

What would you say to people who have great story ideas but feel unable to produce them because they lack budget, equipment, connections, or experience? What advice would you give them to help take the first step?
I would tell aspiring creators that they do not need a big budget or professional equipment to begin. A great story can start with a simple idea, a few characters, and the willingness to learn. AI tools can help bring creative visions to life, even though the video production process can take time and practice. My advice is to start small, experiment with the tools available, learn from mistakes, and keep going. You do not have to know everything before taking the first step.
- 08
After completing your series, what challenges did you encounter when bringing it to audiences? How important are distribution and audience reach for independent creators?
For independent creators, reaching an audience can be just as challenging as producing the series itself. Creating a story is only the beginning; people also need a way to discover it. Platforms that support independent creators can make a real difference by helping their work reach viewers. I believe sharing episodes consistently, connecting with audiences, and finding the right platform are important steps toward building a community around a story.

What has your experience been like working with HeyRuby? Is there anything about its approach to creators, distribution model, royalty structure, promotional methods, or platform that you have found particularly meaningful?
I am still exploring HeyRuby and learning how the platform works for independent creators. I am interested in understanding its distribution model, royalty structure, and opportunities for AI-assisted series. As a new creator, I hope to find a platform where original stories can reach an audience and where creators have opportunities to grow.

What are your plans for the future? What are you currently working on, and what would you like to create next? Where can people follow and support your work?
My goal is to continue developing original stories, especially in fantasy, romance, and drama. I want to improve my skills in AI-assisted video production and find better ways to turn the scenes I imagine into complete episodes. In the future, I hope to publish my own series, connect with viewers who enjoy my stories, and continue growing as an independent creator. I want people to discover my work and follow the worlds and characters I create.
