Acerca de

Chuck Team

I’m an independent creator making AI-assisted short dramas for international audiences. My work focuses on fantasy, cinematic visuals, distinctive characters, and character-driven humor. My current original series, “I Thought This Was a Graduate Program,” follows a modern graduate who accidentally enrolls in a magical academy. The series is being developed and released episode by episode.

Consejos para creadores

Start with a small scene you can finish. Keep the cast and locations manageable, establish clear references, and learn from the result before expanding. AI tools can help with production, but the story, pacing, and continuity still need careful decisions.

I’m an independent creator working under the name magicchenyu. I develop AI-assisted short dramas, including story, character design, world-building, and visual production. My current focus is an original fantasy series for international audiences.

  2. 02

¿Qué te inspiró a crear microdramas?

I want to bring imaginative worlds and memorable characters to the screen. Short episodes let me develop a continuing story in manageable stages, while AI tools help me explore scenes and visual ideas that would be difficult to produce independently.

  3. 03

“I Thought This Was a Graduate Program” is a fantasy comedy about a modern graduate who mistakenly signs up for a fully funded graduate program and finds himself at a magical academy. He joins the Department of Experimental Magic, where unusual lessons and three senior apprentices turn his expectations upside down. The story combines magical mishaps, humor, and developing friendships.

  4. 04

I start with the script and episode structure, then develop consistent character, location, and prop references. I plan each scene’s camera positions, actions, and continuity before generating the visuals. The process includes repeated checks of character identity, spatial relationships, dialogue, sound, subtitles, and editing before an episode is ready for release.

  5. 05

Maintaining consistency across AI-generated shots is one of the hardest parts. A good-looking image can still have the wrong face, proportions, costume, or room layout. I use established reference assets and check each shot against them. Camera framing should adapt to the scene, rather than changing the scene to fit the frame.

  6. 06

For me, each episode needs a clear situation, recognizable characters, and a reason to keep watching. Even in a short runtime, the action should make sense and the audience should understand the characters’ relationships. Humor, surprises, and unfinished story threads can encourage viewers to return.

  7. 07

Start with a small scene you can finish. Keep the cast and locations manageable, establish clear references, and learn from the result before expanding. AI tools can help with production, but the story, pacing, and continuity still need careful decisions.

  8. 08

My series is still in production, and I’m releasing it episode by episode. I’m exploring platforms that support independent creators and ongoing series. Reaching the right audience, preparing suitable subtitles, and adapting presentation for different platforms are important parts of that process.

  9. 09

I’m new to HeyRuby and am currently exploring its creator onboarding and distribution options. I haven’t released a series here yet, so I don’t have first-hand results to share. I’m reviewing the creator agreement and how the platform handles rights, royalties, and ongoing episode releases.

  10. 10

I’m continuing production of “I Thought This Was a Graduate Program,” expanding its characters and magical world through new episodes. I’m also developing other cinematic and animated short-form projects. Updates and released work can be found through the social accounts linked on this profile.
